An interesting shot.

I would have been tempted to make a ';playing card' effect with these two images - merge the two at the chest. This has an odd kindof corporate look (shirt and tie maybe). I think the shadow done the one side of the face maybe a little creepy?

Good clear portrait work. Good subject.

Thank you very much! I was experimenting with profile lightings-- rembrandt, in particular. And yeah, I was sort of going for a simple mugshot look, the variety being only in the model's expression. :D

Photographically these are perfect, lighting, exposure, the use of black and white. Seeing the one on the left flipped over is really a distraction. I think I like the concept but I might have had them looking at each other in the opposite frames and found a way to level them out so they their eyes are on the same line.
